This is the view Adam’s Confederate brigade had when it encountered the 88^th and 42^nd Indiana near the McDonald house on the morning of September 20^th.  The 42^nd Indiana monument is to the left, marking the regiment’s initial position.  The monument to the 88^th Indiana is in the middle right, across the Lafayette Road, marking the two regiment’s final position before withdrawing.
